Accessing SearchMate
Once installed, SearchMate becomes available directly inside Jira’s native Search Work Items screen. The app does not add a separate interface; instead, it enhances the standard search experience with additional JQL functions.
After installation, these extended functions can be used in any Jira screen that runs JQL. This means SearchMate is not limited to the Search Work Items page. Any built-in or app-provided feature that evaluates JQL automatically benefits from SearchMate’s linked-issue capabilities.
